Bid Notice Lease of Borough Owned Real Property
PUBLIC NOTICE
The Borough of Leonia shall offer to the highest bidder by submission of sealed proposals the following property for lease: vacant property located in the Borough of Leonia located at Block 150, Lot 26.
Bids may be submitted only on the forms provided and in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the OFFICIAL BID PACKAGE. Proposal documents may be obtained from Trina Lindsey, Borough Clerk ,312 Broad Avenue, Leonia, New Jersey, by calling the borough at (201) 592-5780, or via our website, www.leonianj.gov. Vendors are responsible for checking this website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. The Borough of Leonia is not responsible for the content of any bid package received through any third party bid service' It is the sole responsibility of the Vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the documents received.
This OFFICIAL BID PACKAGE sets forth all information, terms, and conditions, and the forms necessary for completion of the BID RESPONSE. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon, "BlD SPECIFICATIONS - LEASE OF BOROUGHOWNED pROpERTY, BLOCK 150, LOT 25." Said bids shall be addressed to: Trina Lindsey, Borough Clerk, 312 Broad Avenue, Leonia, NJ 07605'
Bids are being solicited pursuant to the local public contracting provisions of New Jersey's Local Lands and Buildings Law as set forth in N'J.S.A. 4OA:12-14.
The bids shall be received, opened and read aloud in public on February 22, 2023 at 11:00am at the Borough of Leonia Municipal Building located at 312 Broad Avenue, Leonia, NJ 07605.
After receipt of proposals, the Mayor and Borough Council shall consider the proposals and may elect upon consideration to accept the highest proposal or to reject all proposals. Such acceptance or rejection shall be made not later than 60 days following the deadline for submission of sealed proposals.
Bidders must comply with the requirements of New Jersey P.L. 1975, c. 127 , and P.L. 2OO4, c. 57; N.J.S,A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) and American's With Disabilities Act of 199O (42 USC 12101 et seq.).
