Temporary Restaurant Outdoor Dining Applications

Dear Leonia Restaurant Owners,

The Borough of Leonia voted unanimously last evening to temporarily permit outdoor restaurant dining in conjunction with the New Jersey. Resolution Number 2020-140 is attached as is, a Permit Application to be completed by any restaurant owner who wishes to provide temporary outdoor seating.

Please follow all guidelines established by the Borough of Leonia within Resolution 2020-140 as well as the attached New Jersey Department of Health guidelines for outdoor dining. To process your application more expediently, we ask that you please submit your application electronically. There is no fee associated with this application. The email address to send your application is as follows: awardrop @leonianj.gov 

Once received, the Borough Administrator will forward your application and all required attachments to the appropriate departments. You will be contacted by a Borough representative from the Health Department and/or Zoning Office within 48 hours. Questions about outdoor dining that cannot be answered within the attached materials should be directed to the Borough official that contacts you.

The Borough of Leonia is looking forward to working with its restaurant owners during this unprecedented time to make restaurant dining possible under the State of New Jersey guidelines.
